Sound clips are seen as standard links or can be attached to graphic images. To hear the sound, you must of course, have a sound card installed on your computer. Other than that, you simple click on the link/image and the sound file will be sent to your computer. If you are running the latest versions of Netscape and MS Explorer (3.0), you should also be able to hear sounds on some pages automatically. This page has an embedded sound file that should pop-up (eventually). Microsoft Internet Explorer users have an additional option for a background sound. This feature automatically plays a sound clip when the web page is first displayed. Those of you using MS Internet Explorer may have heard the welcome message when you first accessed this page. These files can be very large, so they should be used sparingly. But given enough thought, they can add quite a flair to your page!
